New to the Whitianga Run Fest this year is the family friendly Shakespeare 7km Trail Run. Take in the stunning views from Shakespeare Cliff. Take in the 360 degree views of Mercury Bay from this vantage point. Be challenged by the Back Bay track. Catch the ferry and take the final 1300 metres back to the finish line at the Event Village at Brophy’s beach.
Don’t worry, your timing transponders will time out for the ferry crossing which will run continuously.
Runners and walkers welcome. Race at your own pace. as part of the festival we’ll have some quirky aid stations on this run and we’ll be looking out for the best dressed in the nautical theme of the coast. Get your thinking caps on as to your outfit.
